Kev has been out testing the Lizard Shorts from Haglöfs. Read on to find out just how much he loves them…

The Haglöfs Lizard Shorts can be summed up in 2 words. Brilliant and versatile! In fact these shorts are so good I wish I had 3 pairs. I’ve been wearing them for everything from wandering on the beach to mountain biking. I’ve even been swimming in them. They’re amazing for rock climbing being light and stretchy with a loose cut that isn’t too baggy, a diamond crotch for freedom of movement and flat waistband/belt that works well with a climbing harness.
The fabric is light and dries quickly which is a bonus if you are travelling light. It is also stretchy so offers great freedom of movement, no matter what activity you choose to do. The shorts feature 2 zipped hand pockets and a laminated, zipped cargo pocket. Length wise they fit me to the top of my knee. I am a 30 inch waist, weigh 70kg and am 5 feet 9 inches tall and find size small to be a perfect fit.
They come in a range of colours from the understated True Black and Magnetite to the funkier Gale Blue or Lime Green.
There isn’t actually a lot else to say about these but all in all they are my perfect shorts. I have lived in them over the summer months and absolutely love them.
